A systems theory of change for CIE
We would like to help bring about improved education that will develop and inform an active citizenry for the good of society. To do this, the CIE has developed a theory of change comprising four components that shape a common approach to our work:
- Principles informing our understanding and work with change
- Necessary relational qualities
- Service approach with educational institutions, networks, education systems and the state
- Enabling commitment
By making our theory of change explicit, we can deepen our understanding of our ways of working, surface and test assumptions, and develop insight into how we can do better.
